Glenmorangie Signet is a Highland single malt from the Glenmorangie distillery, made using a proportion of the distillery’s own high-roast “chocolate malt” barley alongside its usual Cadboll variety, tumble roasted the way coffee beans are. That roasted malt is what pushes the whisky toward espresso and dark chocolate character rather than the lighter, more floral profile Glenmorangie is typically known for. Coffee, chocolate and dried fruit sit at the centre of the dram, making it one of the richer expressions in the range.
CHARACTER
Coffee: roasted espresso on the nose
Chocolate: dark and truffle-like through the palate
Orange Peel: sugared citrus lift
Dried Fruit: raisin and dates beneath
Cinnamon: warm spice throughout
TASTING NOTES

PALATE- Rich and mouthcoating, moving through chocolate truffle, toffee and Turkish coffee with citrus and raisin threading through.
FINISH- Long and drying, with coffee and chocolate lingering after the sweetness fades.
