Macallan 18 YO is a Highland single malt from Speyside’s Macallan distillery, matured for a minimum of 18 years in sherry seasoned European oak casks hand-picked from Jerez. That sherry cask influence runs through the whole profile, giving the whisky a light mahogany colour and a fruit driven character built on sultana, orange and warm spice. It’s one of Macallan’s benchmark sherried expressions, made for drinkers who want depth and richness over a lighter, unsherried dram.
