Don Julio Añejo is made from 100% blue agave and rested a minimum of 18 months in American white oak barrels, longer than the legal minimum for the añejo category. That extended barrel time builds a full bodied profile where cooked agave sits against oak driven sweetness. It’s bottled at 40% ABV and positioned by the brand as a sipping tequila, best taken neat in a snifter or on the rocks.
