Código Rosa Bianco, sold by the brand as “Rosa” and as a Blanco-classification tequila, rests one month in Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels, a step that gives the otherwise unaged spirit its rose-gold hue and a gentle wine influence, while technically still falling inside tequila’s Blanco resting window (up to two months). It’s made from 100% Blue Weber agave at Código 1530’s own Varo Destilería (NOM 1616) in Amatitán, Jalisco, the same barrel program, wine-cask-finishing, that runs through the brand’s aged expressions.
