Código 1530 is a premium tequila brand founded in 2016 by former Crocs CEO Ron Snyder, Federico Vaughan and country singer George Strait, built around a private family tequila recipe handed down for generations by an artisan distilling family in Amatitán, Jalisco; Pernod Ricard acquired a majority stake in the brand in 2022. The Añejo expression is aged 18 months in Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels, sourced from California wineries, a signature of the Código 1530 range that layers red-fruit and oak character onto the tequila’s agave base.
