Ca’ del Doge Prosecco Extra Dry comes from Vinicola Tombacco, a Veneto producer based in Trebaseleghe near Padua, Treviso and Venice, founded as a fruit farm in the early 20th century before entering winemaking in 1919. The name references the historic doges of Venice, and the wine is made entirely from Glera grapes grown across the Triveneto region. It’s an Extra Dry style Prosecco DOC, built as an elegant, fine-beaded aperitif rather than a serious ageing prospect.
