Masi Costasera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is the flagship Amarone from Masi Agricola, one of the oldest and best-known producers in Valpolicella, made using the appassimento method: grapes are dried on bamboo racks for around 120 days before fermentation, concentrating sugars and flavour into a rich, full-bodied dry red. “Costasera” refers to the specific hillside vineyard the wine is named for, within the historic Classico zone of Valpolicella. It’s Masi’s best-known and most widely distributed Amarone, the house’s benchmark expression of the style.
