Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Napa Valley winery Robert Mondavi founded in 1966, the first major new winery built in the valley after Prohibition and widely credited with putting Napa on the world wine map. The blend draws Cabernet Sauvignon from across several Napa sub-appellations, largely Oakville and Stags Leap District, filled out with small amounts of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, then aged around 18 months in French oak. It’s positioned as an accessible, well-regarded entry point into serious Napa Cabernet.
