Hibiki Harmony is a blended whisky from Suntory, combining malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from Chita. It’s matured across five cask types, including the uniquely Japanese plum liqueur cask alongside American oak, sherry and Mizunara casks, which is part of what gives it a softer, more rounded profile than a typical Scotch blend. Harmony sits as the accessible entry point into the Hibiki range, positioned below the older, harder to find Hibiki bottlings. It’s a common starting point for people new to Japanese whisky, given its wider availability.
