Dewar’s Double Double 27 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky built by master blender Stephanie MacLeod using Dewar’s four-stage ageing process, where the component whiskies are married in cask more than once before final blending. This expression finishes in Palo Cortado sherry casks after 27 years, bottled at 46% ABV. The extra marrying steps are aimed at a smoother, more integrated blend than a single-marriage Scotch typically achieves.
