Rampur Double Cask is an Indian single malt whisky from Radico Khaitan’s Rampur Distillery in the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttar Pradesh. The spirit matures first in American ex-bourbon barrels, then finishes in European oak Oloroso sherry casks, a two-stage process that gives the whisky its name and its layered fruit and spice character. Bottled at 45% ABV and non-chill filtered, it is a distinctly Indian take on single malt for someone who wants sherry-cask richness without reaching for a Scotch.
