Ballantine’s 17 YO is a blended Scotch whisky from Scotland, built from more than fifty malt and grain whiskies matured for a minimum of seventeen years, with signature malts from Miltonduff and Glenburgie at its core. The extra age shows in a rounder, more layered profile than the younger Ballantine’s expressions: toasted oak, vanilla and honeyed sweetness carry a wisp of smoke that stays subtle until the finish. It suits a neat pour for someone who wants an older, more developed blend without stepping into single malt territory.
CHARACTER
