McDowell’s & Co Indian Single Malt is aged roughly five years cumulatively, moving through ex-Bourbon casks, then virgin American oak, before finishing in Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz barrels sourced from small wine-making families in Dindori, Nashik, the same growers who supply Grover Zampa Vineyards. Diageo positions it as a reinvention of the McDowell’s & Co legacy, bottled at 46% ABV, India’s take on a wine-cask-finished luxury single malt.
