Kumaon & I Gin is India’s first provincial dry gin, distilled by Himmaleh Spirits at the source in the Uttarakhand Himalayas. Eleven regional botanicals go into the still, including wild timur pepper, black turmeric, and two local citrus fruits, galgal and kinu, alongside a distinct strain of Himalayan juniper. The result leans savoury and herbal rather than classically dry, built for drinkers who want a gin with a clear sense of place. It suits a simple gin and tonic or a Negroni, garnished with orange or local tangerine.

Black Pepper: Cool, spicy peppercorn heat from timur berries
