Vale of Paradise is a craft gin from Samsara, part of the brand’s New World Experiment series exploring regional Indian stories. It’s built on eleven botanicals, including Himalayan juniper berries, rose petals, cardamom and cubeb berries, then redistilled with Kashmiri Kahwa tea and saffron ribbons for a distinctly regional character. It suits drinkers after an Indian gin with a warm, spiced, tea driven profile rather than a classic London Dry style.
CHARACTER
Juniper: Earthy and crisp, the aromatic base of the gin
Cardamom: A light spiced note on the nose
Rose: The floral character noted alongside the citrus
TASTING NOTES
NOSE- Rich Kahwa tea with a hint of cardamom sits over a crisp aroma of juniper and pine.
PALATE- Earthy juniper and pine balance against nostalgic notes of Kashmiri Kahwa and saffron.
FINISH- Moderately long, with a lasting sweetness and subtle spice.
