The Dalmore distillery sits on the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands, and the 12 Year Old is the entry point into its range. The spirit spends its first years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, after which part of it is transferred into sherry butts that previously held Matusalem Oloroso for further maturation.
