Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition sends freshly emptied Jameson barrels to a local craft brewery to be filled with India Pale Ale, then returns them to finish the triple-distilled Jameson blend once the IPA has done its work. The hop-seasoned wood layers crisp citrus and floral hop character on top of Jameson’s usual smooth, grain-driven base, a Double Gold Medal winner that bridges whiskey and craft beer drinkers.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE- Floral, herbal hops and grapefruit citrus with subtle orchard fruits, wood shavings and a little nuttiness, green apple and pear.
PALATE- Hops and light citrus with sweet herbal notes and delicate spicy tones, honey and vanilla.
FINISH- Lingering fresh fruit and hops giving way to grains of barley in a signature smooth finish, gentle pepper and citrus.
