Jack Daniel’s Silver Select is a Tennessee whiskey made specifically for travel-retail, built on the same Lincoln County Process charcoal mellowing that defines every Jack Daniel’s release. It’s bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), noticeably stronger than the standard Old No. 7, using barrels drawn from the higher, warmer floors of the barrelhouse where the whiskey sees more contact with the wood. That extra strength and barrel time give it a fuller, spicier character than the everyday bottle while keeping the brand’s signature sweetness intact.
