Vecchia Romagna 1820 is an Italian brandy from the Romagna region, distilled from Trebbiano grapes that grow only between the upper Adriatic and the Po Valley. The house traces back to 1820, when French émigré Jean Buton set up his distillery in Bologna, and the brand has carried the Buton name and Emilia-Romagna roots ever since. It suits someone who wants a genuinely Italian brandy, with real regional character, rather than a French or Spanish style.

NOSE- Dried fruit and hazelnut lead, with sweeter notes of cinnamon and tropical fruit, plus cocoa and nutmeg.
PALATE- Smooth and balanced, roasted hazelnut and vanilla meeting raisins, tropical fruit, cinnamon and clove.
FINISH- Spicy and slightly tart, closing warm.
