Stranger & Sons
Stranger & Sons is a London Dry-style gin from Third Eye Distillery, founded by Sakshi Saigal, Rahul Mehra and Vidur Gupta and distilled entirely in Goa, one of the first fully India-made gins since the 1940s. It’s built on a hefty dose of juniper alongside black pepper, nutmeg, mace, coriander seed, angelica, liquorice, cassia bark and four kinds of citrus peel, including Gondhoraj lime and Indian bergamot, most sourced from local markets and the distillery’s own garden. Bright citrus opens on the nose, handing over to a juniper and coriander heart, before a peppery, cinnamon-warmed finish that lingers. Bottled at 42.8% ABV, the brand’s own serving ritual splits it into two moods: a Gimlet, four parts gin to one part lime cordial, for daytime, and a Gibson, gin with vermouth, brine and a pickled onion, for after sunset. It’s equally at home in a classic Martini, G&T or Negroni.
