The Singleton is Diageo’s approachable single malt brand, positioned as an easy entry point to single malts and priced to compete with Glenfiddich 12 and Glenlivet 12. In India, the Singleton sold is distilled at Glendullan, built in 1897 in the Speyside village of Dufftown, already home to several distilleries; the malt is matured a minimum of 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks, whose lighter cask influence lets the natural fruit character come through clearly.
