Signature, also sold as McDowell’s Signature, is an Indian whisky from Diageo blended with a portion of imported Scotch, bottled at 42.8% ABV. The range has a light, honeyed nose with notes of oak, vanilla and caramel, though it can show some rough alcohol heat on the first sip before it settles. It’s built as an everyday, widely available whisky rather than a connoisseur’s pour, most at home poured over ice, with soda, or mixed into a simple drink rather than sipped slowly on its own.
