Russian Standard Vodka was introduced in 1998 by Russian entrepreneur Roustam Tariko, the first premium Russian vodka of the modern era. It’s crafted in St Petersburg from winter wheat grown in the Russian steppes, blended with glacial water drawn from Lake Ladoga and filtered through Russian birch charcoal.
CHARACTER
Wheat: a wheated sweetness reminiscent of freshly baked grain
Vanilla: sweet, creamy vanilla develops through the mid-palate
Cream: a thick, viscous, creamy body
Black Pepper: a light, drying spice on the finish
TASTING NOTES
NOSE- Light grain and a subtle, soft sweetness.
PALATE- A thick, oily body carrying wheat bread notes and sweet vanilla creaminess.
FINISH- Moves toward a light, drying spice, smooth and clean.
