About This Bottle

Royal Ranthambore

Royal Ranthambore comes from Radico Khaitan, the company behind Rampur Single Malt, and blends imported Scotch malts with Indian grain spirit at their Rampur Distillery in Uttar Pradesh. Since launching in 2021 it’s picked up real recognition, including the International High Quality Trophy at the Monde Selection Awards 2024 after three straight years of Gold or Grand Gold, and a Gold medal at The Fifty Best World Whisky 2023. The nose opens with caramel, vanilla and oak with gentle dried fruit and spice, leading into honey, toffee and a trace of smoke on the palate with a creamy sweetness, and a long, warming finish of malt, oak and citrus, a lightly smoked, medium-bodied style closer to a Highland Scotch than a typical Indian blend.
