Black & White
Black & White is a blended Scotch whisky from Diageo, originally produced by the London-based James Buchanan & Co. The nose opens with raw alcohol and a touch of mentholated spirit before settling into sweet caramel, citrus, mild peat and dried fruit, with vanilla and grain running through a smooth, honeyed palate. It’s a whisky that rewards a little patience as it opens up in the glass, rather than one built for an instant first impression, and works well either neat once it settles or mixed into a simple drink.
