Roku Gin is a Japanese craft gin from Suntory’s House of Roku, distilled from six Japanese botanicals (cherry blossom, cherry leaf, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, sansho pepper and yuzu peel) alongside eight traditional gin botanicals including juniper, coriander and angelica root. Each Japanese botanical is distilled separately before blending, which gives the gin a floral, tea driven profile that sets it apart from a classic London Dry. It suits drinkers after a lighter, more aromatic gin for a Japanese style gin and tonic or a delicate martini.
CHARACTER
Juniper: The traditional base note carried through the palate
Orange Peel: Bitter orange arrives late on the palate
Lemon: A bright citrus note on the nose
Black Pepper: A peppery lift on the nose and mid palate

PALATE- A complex, silky palate built on a traditional juniper base, with yuzu as the top note among the Japanese botanicals.
