Jack Carlosey Caju
Jack Carlosey is a premium cashew feni made by Ocean King Distillers, a Goan boutique distillery whose range also includes Goan Salute, Arabella and Carra Coconut feni, alongside the Napoleon Port Wine also in Wine Palace’s range. Cashew feni is distilled from fermented cashew apple juice, double-distilled in the traditional Goan method, and carries a Geographical Indication tag as a speciality alcoholic beverage of the state, a craft that predates most of India’s modern spirits industry. Purists drink Jack Carlosey neat to experience its full strength and character; the more common way in for newcomers is with a splash of lemon-lime soda and a wedge of lime.
