Glenmorangie Nectar D’Or is a 12 year old Highland single malt, matured first in American oak bourbon casks and finished for roughly two years in Sauternes casks, the sweet dessert wine barrels from Bordeaux. That finish gives it a rounder, more dessert like character than Glenmorangie’s standard Original expression. It sits in Glenmorangie’s Extra Matured range alongside Lasanta and Quinta Ruban, each finished in a different cask type.
