Don Julio Reposado is made from 100% Blue Weber agave and aged for eight months in American white oak barrels, well beyond the two month minimum required for the reposado classification. The extended rest gives the tequila its golden amber color and a smoother, more rounded character than a standard reposado. It is produced by Don Julio in Jalisco, Mexico and bottled at 38 to 40% ABV, positioned as the brand’s flagship aged expression for both sipping and cocktails.
