Doja is billed as the world’s first Indo-Japanese gin, from East Side Distillery, built after distilling sessions conducted over Zoom between an Indian founder and a Japanese distiller in Wakayama Prefecture. Its botanicals split between the two countries: juniper berry, coriander, fennel, cardamom and peppermint sourced from India, paired with yuzu peel, cedar leaf, sansho pepper and hinoki chips from Japan, single-shot distilled at 42.8% ABV. It has won a Double Gold medal at competition, judged for its light, classic and elegant profile.
