The Double Double series is Dewar’s showcase for its multi-stage blending process, where malt and grain whiskies are aged separately, married in cask, then blended together and aged again before a final cask finish. This 21 Year Old expression takes that base and finishes it in Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 46% ABV. Master blender Stephanie Macleod oversees the process. It suits drinkers who already know Dewar’s standard range and want to see what real sherry-cask depth adds on top of it.
