Marshmallow: Toasted, opens the nose warm and sweet
Pineapple: Fire roasted, bright fruit through the middle
Clove: Studded through baked apple on the nose
Malt: Caramelised, forms the backbone of the palate
Black Pepper: Cracks through as the palate builds
Smoke: A slight wisp through the long finish
TASTING NOTES
NOSE- Toasted marshmallow and fire roasted pineapple open over baked apple studded with clove, with a faint tang of struck match underneath.
PALATE- Malty and full bodied, with caramelised malt and cracked black pepper building into a faintly sulphurous spice.
FINISH- A slightly smoky finish carries black pepper and clove spice over a dry, coal like edge.
