Casa Noble Añejo rests a full two years in new French oak barrels, longer than the category norm of one year, made from certified-organic 100% Blue Weber agave grown on the brand’s own high-altitude Jalisco estate and triple-distilled for purity. Casa Noble’s roots trace to the 1700s, and the modern brand was founded in the 1990s by José “Pepe” Hermosillo, whose family has been in tequila production for seven generations; Constellation Brands acquired Casa Noble in 2014, and Carlos Santana has also been an owner. The extended French oak rest is the brand’s signature, chosen over the char-heavy used bourbon barrels most reposado and añejo tequilas rely on.
