Armand de Brignac Brut Gold, widely known by its “Ace of Spades” gold-foil bottle, is produced by Champagne Cattier for the Armand de Brignac Empire, the brand co-owned by rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z. It’s a three-way assemblage of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, blended across three separate vintages, with its liqueur de tirage aged a full year in French oak barrels before disgorgement, a detail unique to the house among major Champagne producers. Since its 2006 launch it has become one of the most recognisable prestige Champagnes in hip-hop and celebrity culture, priced and positioned well above most non-vintage Champagne.

NOSE- Peach, apricot and red berry aromas followed by crystallized citrus, orange blossom and hints of brioche.
PALATE- Rich with cherries, exotic fruits and a touch of lemon, vanilla and honey, with a soft, creamy mouthfeel and a hint of toastiness from its oak-aged dosage.
FINISH- Long and elegant, with mineral freshness and refined complexity.
