Adinco Sambuca
Adinco Distilleries is a fourth-generation, family-owned distillery in Quepem, Goa, tracing back to the late 1800s, when Aleixo Diniz first began distilling feni at home. That same house is behind Voodoo Cream Liqueur and the Ticonnie range, and this sambuca carries its name. Sambuca itself is Italy’s classic anise liqueur, built on star anise and elderflower infused into a neutral spirit, poured neat, on ice, or served the traditional way, con la mosca, with three coffee beans floated on top for health, happiness and prosperity. Expect a clear, syrupy body, sweet aniseed on the nose, and a long, clean, liquorice-tinged finish.
