Aberfeldy 12 Years comes from the Perthshire Highlands, home distillery of the Dewar’s family and in continuous production since 1898. It’s matured across a mix of sherry, bourbon, refill and re-char casks under the direction of malt master Stephanie Macleod, whose blending has earned Aberfeldy more than 200 gold medals. The combination gives it a honeyed, fruit-driven character with real spice and just enough smoke in the background to remind you it’s Highland whisky, not Speyside sweetness. Buy it for a well-rounded, food-friendly single malt that doesn’t need a special occasion.
