Teachers Golden 12 YO
Teacher’s Golden Thistle 12 Year Old is a step up from the standard Highland Cream, part of the Teacher’s range that’s been made since 1830. The nose is rich and aromatic with honey, vanilla and dried fruit and a hint of smoke, opening into a smooth, full-bodied palate of oak, caramel and more dried fruit, rounding out into a warm, balanced finish. It keeps the same smoky backbone that defines the Teacher’s house style, just with more depth and roundness from the extra years in cask, equally suited to a slow glass neat or with a splash of water.
