Singleton 18 YO comes from the Dufftown distillery in Speyside, matured in a blend of refill ex-bourbon casks and Pedro Ximenez Oloroso seasoned casks. That combination gives it a rounder, dessert-like character, with toffee and vanilla sweetness running through dark fruit and roasted nuts, and cinnamon spice carrying into a long, warm finish. It’s an approachable style of single malt for someone who wants sherry-cask richness without heavy peat.
