Laphroaig 10 YO is the foundation expression of the Laphroaig range, an Islay single malt aged 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels and built to carry the distillery’s signature peat smoke through every stage of the whisky. Islay malts are known for maritime, smoky intensity, and Laphroaig is one of the most assertive examples of the style, drawing on the exposed, peat-cut, sea-facing position of the distillery itself. It’s the right bottle for someone who wants Scotch at its smokiest rather than a gentler introduction to peat.
