Six Brothers Mahura Small Batch is a heritage Indian spirit from South Seas Distilleries, makers of India’s oldest single malt whiskies and the oldest commercial distillers of mahua spirit, with a distilling legacy dating back to 1922. Named after the six brothers who first began distilling mahua flowers commercially, it’s made from Madhuca longifolia, the mahua tree revered in Indian culture as the “wishing tree,” whose flowers bloom once a year in spring before being collected, dried, fermented and distilled. Six Brothers Mahura is double-distilled in India’s largest copper pot stills and platinum-filtered for a smooth, clean, crisp finish, and can be enjoyed neat, on ice, or in a cocktail.
