Estrella Damm is a Mediterranean lager from Barcelona, founded in 1876 by August Küntzmann Damm and his cousin Joseph Damm, Alsatian brewers who fled the Franco-Prussian War. It’s still brewed to that original 1876 recipe, using barley malt, rice and hops with no additives, a lighter grain bill designed for the Mediterranean climate rather than the heavier style of Central European lager. It suits anyone who wants the beer of Barcelona itself, alongside tapas or simply on its own.
CHARACTER
Malt: A light malty aroma opens the nose
Baking Spice: Fresh spice drifting through slowly
Cream: A smooth mouthfeel from fine carbonation
Hops: Creamy hops carry the palate
TASTING NOTES
NOSE- A light malty aroma with fresh spice drifting through slowly.
