Bottega Gianduia Chocolate Cream is built on gianduia chocolate, the Piedmont confection created in 1806 when the high cost of cocoa led local pastry chefs to replace part of it with toasted ground hazelnuts. Bottega’s cream liqueur carries the same cocoa-and-nut character, finished with a touch of grappa for extra aromaticity, and has picked up a Gold Award at the International Wine & Spirit Competition and 91 points from Wine Enthusiast.
CHARACTER
Chocolate: intense cocoa dominates the aroma
Hazelnut: roasted hazelnut runs through the palate
Cream: velvety milk-cream sweetness underneath
TASTING NOTES
NOSE- Intense aromas of cocoa and roasted hazelnut, like chocolate milk in the glass.
PALATE- Soft and velvety, rich hazelnut and cocoa flavours coated in creamy milkiness.
FINISH- Boozy and milky, melting like a chocolate truffle.
