Big Boss Cashew
Big Boss, launched in 1979 by Valentino Vaz, was the first branded feni in Goa, made by Rhea Distilleries and today one of the most recognised feni names in the state, featured as the reference bottle on Feni’s own Wikipedia page. This Cashew expression is distilled from fermented cashew apples in copper pots, the traditional Goan method, and carries a Geographical Indication tag as a speciality alcoholic beverage of the state. Traditionalists drink Big Boss neat to appreciate its full, pungent character; the more common way in for newcomers is with a splash of lemon-lime soda and a wedge of lime.
