Khukri Rum is a 42.8% ABV dark rum from Nepal Distilleries Private Limited, a distillery operating in Kathmandu since 1959. It’s distilled from molasses and aged a minimum of eight months in wooden vats using natural spring water drawn from the upper reaches of the Himalayas, a genuinely uncommon high-altitude maturation environment for rum. It earned a Gold Award at the International Rum Festival in Canada in 2002.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE- Oak and caramel dominate, with a lingering warmth, subtle dried fruit and a gentle butterscotch sweetness underneath.
PALATE- A smooth, round entry of caramel and vanilla, developing into brown baking spice and dried fruit at mid-palate, balanced by a measured oak influence.
FINISH- Exceptionally long and silky, with oak and butterscotch lingering well after the last sip.
