About THis Bottle

Old Monk The Legend is a Very Old Vatted rum, positioned above the standard bottle and below Gold Reserve in the range. The nose is sweet and fruity with a hint of wood, opening into a palate of butterscotch, cloves and cinnamon layered with oriental spices, banana and orange peel, a busier flavour profile than base Old Monk. Caramel and chocolate round it out with a hint of vanilla, giving it a smooth, creamy consistency underneath the spice. It’s built for slow sipping over ice rather than mixing, where the combination of banana, orange and warm spice has enough going on to reward a bit more attention than a straightforward rum and cola.
