Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva comes from Tenuta Tignanello, the same Antinori estate that produces the flagship Tignanello Super Tuscan, though built to Chianti Classico DOCG rules rather than Tignanello’s Toscana IGT freedom. Mostly Sangiovese with small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it’s aged in small French and Hungarian oak barrels and positioned as a more approachable, energetic expression of the same limestone-and-clay Tignanello terroir. It’s named for Marchese Piero Antinori, who led the family firm through the era that produced Tignanello and reshaped Tuscan winemaking.
