Malhar Classic is an Indian craft gin from John Distilleries, the makers of Paul John Whisky, built on fifteen botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica, cardamom, and lavender. It opens with rich herbs, soft florals, and a peppery spice, then turns fresh and fruity on the palate with sweet, spicy highlights, before settling into an earthy, herbal finish. Where its sibling Malhar Citrus is built around citrus, Classic keeps juniper and spice at the center for a more traditional dry gin character. Bottled at 43% ABV.
